New build - W/any Pain-Inverting Dragonslasher
A new build I found really useful
Concept:
The concept is to deal the same damage as a Dragonslasher, yet damaging dangerous foes with Pain Inverter (as obviously suggested in the title build).
Attributes/Title Ranks:
Swordsmanship: 12 + 1 (helm, can use sup runes)
Strength: 10 + 1
Tacs: 8
Asura title: 3+ would be good ( I have R4 asura)
Optional Attributes/Title Ranks (used when appropriate PVE skills are used):
Dwarf: Any
Skills:
[ Optional ]
[ Optional ]
Dragon Slash
Flail
Enraging Charge
"For Great Justice!"
Pain Inverter
Insert res/any skill here (I use Rebirth for HM, cap sigs for NM)
Skills to go in Optional:
An attack skill
Great Dwarf Armor (useful on Destroyers)
Basically any skill you want ^_^
Strategy:
Basically works like a Dragonslasher, except you have one new dangerous asset in your arsenal: Pain Inverter. Since the skill damages [insert target foe here] every time it deals damage, this is a new, innotative skill to use in HM on dangerous and lethal bosses to basically kill themselves if you can keep the enchantment up. just do your best with this build.
Just a final word... please give me constructive critisism as to how I can galvanise* this build.
*By the way, galvanise means to strengthen, or to add strength to.

You don't need tactics at all.

This is the warrior forum, is it not?
You don't have any Tactic skills, so why bring them? 8 Tactics isn't enough for the shield requirement for the average warrior.

It looks like a DSlash build with Pain Inverter thrown onto the bar.

Sorry, you can't really call it a new build just by adding a single PvE skill. And Pain Inverter is a hex, not an enchantment btw.

If you're not going to bring any other adrenaline attacks then take [skill]Enduring Harmony[/skill] since your secondary is open.....
And a PvE Warrior without Watch Yourself or Save Yourself = fail...

Correction: PvE Warrior's without those skills aren't as effective, but don't deserve the big fat FAIL stamp. If PvE needed those skills, why are there so many Mending Wammos out there saying 'OMG I'm so pro I beat Prophecies!!!1!one!!!

Bullshit. You don't need those to achieve anything in PvE. You don't even need a warrior.

Correction: You can do HM without Save Yourselves. Just that your party takes more damage. Besides, you want damage, you're a warrior :S

why?> just...why?
Much moreso a caster fitting skill.
Made much less effective if the foe is attacking the warrior.
One usage just took half the warrior's energy.
Takes 1+ second out of their time, from building up adrenline for damage or other utility skills.
There are way, WAY more fitting PvE skills for a warrior to use up his energy on, such as all teh norn skills...
Just sayin, no real reason to use this on a warrior, seriously.
cheers.

Actually Pain Inverter is a fantastic skill for any player who enjoys the company of H/H. Maybe it's better suited for casters but it's obviously player only. One second is one attack, it doesn't make a difference in the long run of PvE. When a good player uses it on the right foes it's quite literally a kill spell. Target hard mode foe of your choice, press 2, and move onto the next target because it will be dead in seconds. If you use it on a foe trying to hit through your 100 AL armor you're missing the entire point of the skill.

Pain Inverter isn't bad, but I can't see why I'd run it over Brawling Headbutt, Save Yourselves, or Drunken Master.

You don't need a speed boost most of the time once you're in combat so Drunken Master is often inferior to flail, a single KD is useful but hardly gamebreaking, and I never leave home without the "SY!". Builds that don't have heavy adrenaline gain and only have the rank for a three second SY might pass it up easily. I guess it's just a matter of the situation you're playing in.

Flail detracts from your adrenaline pool and makes running between enemies slower, so you mow down mobs slower. Drunken Master does neither. Mainly I just love IAS + speed buff in one skill, plus I have ales lying around, though it's pretty good even without ales.
Since we're talking about a DSlash build, SY is easy enough to put in. Same thing with Brawling Headbutt. Keeping an enemy on its butt while giving out +100 armor is too good to pass up.
